Don’t let a TMP delay your permit
The road authority or council has told you traffic management documentation is required before they can issue your permit, but many providers take days or weeks to prepare it.
Waiting on traffic plans should not delay your permit, your crews or your project schedule.
We deliver compliant documentation quickly once we have the required information, and amendments are included at no extra cost.

Construction Traffic Management Plans (CTMP)
A Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) is a specific type of traffic management document required for construction projects that impact roads, footpaths or public access. CTMPs are commonly required by councils, VicRoads and project managers as a condition of planning permits and construction management plan approvals.
A CTMP documents how vehicle movements to and from a construction site will be managed. This includes truck routes, delivery scheduling, site access arrangements and measures to protect pedestrians and other road users during the construction phase.
You may need a CTMP when:
- A planning permit condition specifies a construction traffic management plan is required
- Works will affect road lanes, footpaths or parking in a public area
- The project involves high-volume truck movements to or from the site
- A construction management plan submission requires a traffic component
- The site is in a busy urban area where construction vehicle access must be formally approved
OnPoint TGS prepares CTMPs as standalone documents or as part of a broader traffic management plan package. Our CTMPs are formatted for council submission and meet the requirements of VicRoads and local authorities across Victoria and Tasmania.
